We Serve.

Clean Ups.

Our club participates in several community clean-ups throughout the year. We have adopted a section of highway in Shillington and clean-up as part of an Earth Day Initiative. Annually, we also clean up the Mohnton Playground and Wyomissing Creek.
Collections.

Throughout the year we hold several collections to support organizations and their missions. Of these include annual food drives, continued clothing drives, as well as hearing aids and glasses.
KidSight.

We proudly support KidSight US. Through the KidSight program, we provide free vision screenings to children as early as 6 months!
We have two certified vision screeners in our club, and a whole team of members trained to provide screenings at preschools, daycares, and community events. To request a KidSight screening at your event or location, Contact Us Here.
Independent Projects.

We help where help is needed. As Lions, many of our members engage in service projects on an individual basis for community organizations that speak to them or speak to their individual talents.

Annual Fundraisers

Bag and Broom Sale

You know them, you love them! Our famous trash bags and brooms are always a hit. You can find us selling bags and brooms at our flea markets, and throughout the year at Kenhorst Redner’s and Shillington Farmer’s Market. Follow us on Facebook for updates on where we’ll be!
Sometimes we even make special deliveries if you can’t make it to one of our sales. Just ask!

Fantasy Football Pool

Like Fantasy Football, only easier and better! You pick a new offensive player every week and we take care of the rest. Have the most points at the end of 18 weeks, and you win the prize money. The best part is it’s only $15!

NCAA March Madness Pool

A basketball pool that requires no basketball knowledge! You purchase an entry. Depending on the final score of each game during March Madness you could be eligible to win a prize up to $600! One entry fee covers every single March Madness game. And you don’t have to do anything to win!

Rubber Duck Race

Held in conjunction with the Music & Makers Fest in the fall - a race you don’t have train for!
Purchase rubber duck numbers, and hope your duck is one of the first to cross the finish line. We hold the race at Mohnton Playground (Wyomissing Creek) and pair it with a great creek clean-up.

Super Bowl Pool

Join the fun and support a great cause with our Super Bowl Squares Fundraiser!
The pool consists of a 10 x 10 grid with 100 squares. Participants purchase one or more squares on the grid. Once all squares are filled, numbers 0–9 are randomly assigned to each row and column, representing the last digit of each team’s score.
At the end of each designated quarter, the winning square is determined by matching the last digit of each team’s score to the numbers on the grid.
A portion of the money collected is awarded as prizes, while the remaining proceeds benefit Governor Mifflin Area Lions Club.
