Our Story.
The International Assocation of Lions Clubs began as a dream of a Chicago businessman in 1917. The Shillington club’s story began in 1944 when the new club was sponsored by the Denver, PA Lions Club.
The Mohnton-Cumru Lions Club was chartered in 1949. -
We Serve.
Lionism is about volunteering to serve your local and global community. Shillington Lions bring that mission into everything we do with hands-on service projects and financial support for local organizations.

Community Support.
Throughout the year we hold several fundraisers that allow us to provide financial donations to local organizations. 100% of proceeds raised in our fundraisers goes back to helping others.

The Governor Mifflin Area Lions Club meets the First and Third Thursdays of the month at 6:15 pm at Paolo’s Restaurant (2480 Lancaster Pike, Reading PA 19607).
